The Columbia Bartending Agency has a long history of supporting all kinds of parties across New York City. We’ve served at birthday parties, weddings, promotions, holiday gatherings, reunions, gallery openings, and much more! We can help with nearly anything your event may need, even if it doesn’t require the standard drink mixing expected of a bartender. Our team is ready and waiting to help you make your event a success.

About Us

All of our bartenders are Columbia University students. They will mix you a French Martini or an Old Fashioned, while engaging in a thoughtful and informative conversation with your guests.

Pricing

The Columbia Bartending Agency requires a $35 fee to process your event. Our bartenders are paid by the hour and receive 100% of the hourly wage. Rates vary by the time of year as well as the amount of advance notice given.

Create Your Booking Request

Navigate to one of the “Book Now” buttons on our website. There, you will:

Create your profile. Submit your contact information so we can get to know you.
Pay our Processing Fee. This $35 fee is our only administrative fee and covers bookings for one year.
Sign our Network Service Agreement. You’ll review and sign our contract, protecting both you and our bartenders.
Enter the details of your event. Confirm specifics so we can match you with the best bartenders available.
Look for a CBA email. This emails confirms that your event has been received and includes your Event Reference Number.

Please note: This step confirms that we have received your event information; however, you are not yet confirmed for bartenders at this point. While unlikely, if we are completely booked for this date, you will be notified in advance that we will be unable to staff your event.

Result: You’ll receive your confirmation email and Event Reference Number.

We Handle the Staffing

We connect you with the best-fit bartender(s) from our network. You’ll receive a second confirmation email with a PDF detailing their contact information:

Events 2+ weeks away: expect bartender info 14 days before your event.
Events within 2 weeks: expect bartender info within 48 hours of booking.

Please note: To ensure staffing for your event, it is always best to book with as much notice as possible.

Result: You will receive a second confirmation email with your bartenders’ contact information.

Meet Your Bartenders

After the second email, your bartender(s) will reach out to introduce themselves and coordinate final details with you directly.

Result: Your bartender will contact you directly.
