Introductory Bartending - SPRING SESSION 1 - 2025

Registration is now open for our in-person Spring Session 1 classes! These classes are open to the general public! Email info@columbiabartending.com if you would like more information about classes or if you would like to join our mailing list to hear about upcoming classes over the rest of this year.

This course is an introductory bartending course for mixology practices. This class will meet once a week on Mondays with the final exam on Monday, February 24th, for a total of 5 classes. Classes will be held from 8 pm - 10 pm on the following Monday dates: January 27th, February 3rd, February 10th, February 17th, February 24th (the exam). Topics to be covered include but aren't limited to: alcohol safety, tools of the trade, pouring and mixing techniques, highballs, shaken drinks, lowballs, and classic cocktails. This class gives you the foundational skills to work on your creativity and explore more advanced mixing techniques.

Classes will be held from 8 pm - 10 pm on the following Tuesday dates: January 28th, February 4th, February 11th, February 18th, February 25th (the exam). Topics to be covered include but aren't limited to: alcohol safety, tools of the trade, pouring and mixing techniques, highballs, shaken drinks, lowballs, and classic cocktails. This class gives you the foundational skills to work on your creativity and explore more advanced mixing techniques.

Classes will be held from 8 pm - 10 pm on the following Wednesday dates: January 29th, February 5th, February 12th, February 19th, February 26th (the exam). Topics to be covered include but aren't limited to: alcohol safety, tools of the trade, pouring and mixing techniques, highballs, shaken drinks, lowballs, and classic cocktails. This class gives you the foundational skills to work on your creativity and explore more advanced mixing techniques.
