This course is an introductory bartending course for mixology practices. This class will meet once a week on Mondays with the final exam on Monday, April 13th, for a total of 5 classes. Classes will be held from 8 pm - 10 pm on the following Monday dates: March 9th, March 23rd, March 30th, April 6th, and April 13th (the exam). Topics to be covered include but aren't limited to: alcohol safety, tools of the trade, pouring and mixing techniques, highballs, shaken drinks, lowballs, and classic cocktails. This class gives you the foundational skills to work on your creativity and explore more advanced mixing techniques.
