The Columbia Bartending Agency (CBA) is a student-run organization based at Columbia University that trains bartenders and connects them with events across New York City and beyond.
The school is student-taught, and classes are offered throughout the academic year and the summer. Our curriculum covers classic cocktails, modern mixology, efficient bar setup, speed-pouring skills, and responsible alcohol service. Students practice on real equipment and receive feedback from trained instructors.
For decades, we’ve staffed everything from small birthday parties and reunions to large-scale galas and corporate events. Our bartenders are graduates of the CBA School of Mixology and are trained not only in classic and modern cocktails, but also in professional and responsible service.
