You can never go wrong with a fully stocked bar. This list will give you the ingredients to make many popular drinks that your guests will enjoy and thank you for later. On average, a four hour party of 30-40 people will consume:

  • 2-3 liters of Vodka
  • 1-2 liter of Gin
  • 1-2 liter of Rum
  • 1 liter of Whiskey
  • 1 liter of Bourbon
  • 1 liter of Scotch
  • 1-2 liter of Tequilla
  • 1 liter of Triple Sec
  • 1 liter of Peach Schnapps
  • 1 liter of Dry Vemouth
  • 1 bottle of Rose’s Lime Juice
  • Several Bottles of Red and White Wine
  • 1-1.5 gallons of Orange Juice
  • 1-1.5 gallons of Cranberry Juice
  • 1 quart of Grapefruit Juice
  • 3-5 liters of Club Soda
  • 3-5 liters of Tonic
  • 2-4 liters of Coke
  • 2 liters of Ginger Ale
  • 2 liters of Sprite/7-UP
  • 3-4 lemons
  • 4-5 limes
  • 1 jar of cherries
  • 1 jar of olives
  • Beverage Napkins
  • Sip Sticks/Straws
  • 5-6 bags of ice

These are of course estimates of an average party so modify them where you see fit. If your guests are big wine drinkers, or are partial to margaritas, you may want to adjust your shopping list accordingly.
