February 2010 Accelerated Mixology Course

An fast-paced version of our standard course. Cover the same material in half the time! The accelerated course will meet twice a week for five weeks on the following dates. All our classes use real alcohol to teach you hundreds of drinks. That means you can actually taste the drinks you make. You have to be 21 to drink, but only 18 to taste.

Monday/Wednesday Class: 2/3, 2/8, 2/10, 2/15, 2/17 — CLASS FULL

Tuesday/Thursday Class: 2/4, 2/9, 2/11, 2/16, 2/18 — CLASS FULL

This class will be held from 8:00pm-10:00pm on the Columbia University Campus in Math 312.


February 2010 Wine Appreciation Course

Learn the basics about red, white, rose, and bubbly wines. We cover everything from history to terroir, tasting dozens of major grape varietals. You must be 21 to drink a full glass, but only 18 to have a tasting sip.

The Agency is Re-open!

Thanks to everyone for their patience as we went through our internal audit and changed a number of our process. The Agency is now able to take on jobs from outside clients!

We are still in the process of re-hiring and re-training bartenders, so please be patient with us as we work diligently to fill your events and navigate our new processes. If you’re looking to hire bartenders within the next couple of months, here are some of the changes you can expect to encounter from us:

  • We have decreased our hourly prices! The average rate for an event booked over two weeks in advance is now $18/hr—a 25% decrease from our previous standard rate.
  • Events will be filled in connection with the Agency Manager or Assistant Manager, giving you more ways to connect with us and make sure we are ready for your event.
  • We now use a comprehensive online booking form which will help us get a number of questions out of the way so that we may book your event as soon as possible.
  • Bartenders are Training in Intervention Procedures (TIPS) trained, giving you better bartenders who are best able to manage both large and small events.
